Each year, the National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) joins the International Federation of Psoriasis Associations (IFPA) to recognize World Psoriasis Day on October 29. On this day, the global community unites to raise awareness, call for action, and support people living with psoriatic disease.
This year’s we are focusing on Psoriatic Disease and Comorbidities. Psoriatic disease is more than a skin condition, it is a lifelong, systemic disease that can increase the risk for serious health complications such as heart disease, diabetes, and mental health conditions. By raising awareness, we can help people understand their risks and take steps to protect and improve their overall health.
