Join Melanoma Institute Australia for their Sydney GP Dermoscopy Workshop: Melanoma in Focus — a practical, introductory workshop designed for HCPs who are new to dermoscopy or looking to strengthen their confidence in assessing skin lesions. Although this is aimed at GPs, nurses keen to learn dermoscopy are most welcome to attend too!
You’ll learn how to:
- Use dermoscopy effectively in everyday general practice
- Recognise common benign and malignant lesions using clinical and dermoscopic features
- Apply the “Chaos and Clues” approach to melanoma assessment
- Understand the role of dermatopathology and reflectance confocal microscopy
- Select appropriate biopsy techniques and avoid common specimen-handling pitfalls
- Work through real melanoma cases with expert clinicians
