GP WORKSHOP ‘PSORIASIS – NEW FRONTIERS’

This 2-hour interactive online workshop will provide an overview of how to overcome diagnostic and clinical challenges associated with psoriasis presentation and assist general practitioners in optimising psoriasis management.

The workshop will cover hands-on strategies and techniques for general practitioners managing psoriasis independently, as well as how their vital role can be improved when working within a multidisciplinary team.

This workshop is developed and delivered by specialist dermatologists A/Prof Peter Foley and A/Prof Aaron Robinson and facilitated by Dr Laxmi Iyengar.

Topics covered include:

  • Aetiology and pathophysiology of psoriasis
  • The diverse clinical presentations of psoriasis
  • Assessing for disease severity and comorbidity
  • Managing psoriasis: from topical treatment to biologic therapy
