The Sun Pharma Rural & Regional Dermatology Nurse Excellence Award recognises an individual ADNA member who has made an outstanding contribution to dermatology nursing in rural or regional Australia.
The contribution may be in one or more of the following areas:
- Enhancement of patient education or care in rural or regional communities
- Advancement of the quality use of medicines in rural or regional Australia
- Development of systems or procedures that improve the delivery of dermatology services in rural or regional areas
- Sharing of expertise or knowledge of a disease state or therapeutic area across rural or regional clinical settings

Nominations can be submitted by the applicant, another ADNA member, or a colleague who has directly observed the nominee’s impact.
All submissions will be reviewed by the ADNA Executive Committee. Please include a brief outline of the nominee’s contribution and its impact.
Permission from the individual ADNA member must be obtained prior to nomination.
Award funds may be used for education, training, or research, and can support registration, travel, and accommodation for dermatology-related meetings and congresses.
