PEEK study for hives including Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria

29 Jul, 2024 | News

The Centre for Community-Driven Research (CCDR) is a nurse-led charity.

CCDR conducts Personal Experience Expectations and Knowledge (PEEK) studies to understand the experience of patients and uses this information to improve the health system.

In this next PEEK study CCDR will be talking to people that have both allergic and spontaneous hives, including Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria. Hives aren’t only a physical condition; they can affect a person’s mental health and quality of life. The constant itching and appearance of hives may lead to anxiety, stress, and even depression in some individuals. Getting treatment right can also be really challenging.

If you experience hives, register for the PEEK study where you can talk to the CCDR team about your experience and contribute to a comprehensive report demonstrating the impact of this condition.

To register go to cc-dr.org/2024aucsu or contact Kate Holliday, Chief Nurse at holliday@cc-dr.org
