Join us for an engaging educational symposium designed for all nurses who care for skin cancer patients. 

 

Hosted by Melanoma Institute Australia, this symposium brings together leading multidisciplinary experts to explore the latest developments in melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC) management to ultimately improve your patient care.

Gain valuable insights into:

  • A comprehensive melanoma overview
  • The latest topical treatments for lentigo maligna and NMSC
  • The role of genetic testing in melanoma
  • Early assessment and management of rare immunotherapy toxicities
  • Neoadjuvant melanoma treatment from multidisciplinary perspectives
  • Multidisciplinary case study discussion
  • Managing complex head and neck skin cancers
  • Understanding mucosal melanoma
  • Available support services for patients and healthcare providers
  • An update on the National Melanoma Nursing Program

The day includes opportunities to engage with experts during Q&A sessions, an interactive quiz and opportunities to network with your colleagues.

Date: Thursday 8 May 2025, 8:30am to 3:30pm (Registration will open at 8am with presentations commencing at 8:30am sharp)

Venue: Melanoma Institute Australia, The Poche Centre, 40 Rocklands Rd, Wollstonecraft NSW 2065

Cost: $95 (inc GST). Ticket prices includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.

Parking: Limited free street parking may be available. Discounted paid parking ($10) will be available onsite at The Poche Centre (entry via Rocklands Rd). Public transport is encouraged.

CPD: A Certificate of Attendance will be given after the event. 

RSVP: By 24 April 2025. Note that ticket numbers are strictly limited and as this is a popular event, tickets are likely to be sold out before then.
