EGO NURSES FELLOWSHIP: AUD$4,000

5 Dec, 2023 | SPONSORED AWARDS

This is to assist Australian dermatology nurses to build their international contacts, to pursue continued professional development and establish networking opportunities with the BDNG or National Skin Cancer Centre Singapore. This Nurses Fellowship award is for $4,000.

The successful applicant for this fellowship award will be required to meet the following criteria:

-Be an active financial member of ADNA for at least 12 months.

– Have practiced in dermatology for at least 12 months and intend to continue to work in dermatology for at least the next 12 months.

– The applicant must submit an application letter and 1 written letter of recommendation when applying for this fellowship award.

Please obtain consent of the person prior to nominating them. Please ensure all criteria are met.

– A reflective article of the experience, collaboration and knowledge gained from the overseas interaction will need to be submitted to the Executive Committee of ADNA and will be published on the website. Or the applicant can give a 10 min presentation at their next state education day.

-On completion of the educational event, collaborate with your state representative or ADNA conference committee, to help bring together the next event over the following 12 month.

We would like the winner to transfer the knowledge they have gained from the experiences this award provides into practice here in Australia. It would be an expectation the winner will assist ADNA with liaising with our overseas dermatology associations and their prize winners at the next conference.

– Top 3 finalists must attend the EGO dinner at the annual conference for the presentation (finalist will be notified by the executive committee prior to the event)

– Applicants cannot be a serving member of the ADNA Executive Committee

Must apply by the 15th April 2024

Note: The award is intended for travel assistance for further education. It will be awarded on receipt of course fee invoice, event registration or travel costs.
