AMC2024 Nursing Program

In addition to having nursing experts on panels throughout the conference, our specialised nursing session will explore the pivotal role nurses play in melanoma care. Together we’ll navigate the ever-evolving treatment landscape and engage in the complexity of care through interactive sessions.

  • The session “Navigating the future of melanoma nursing: Advances in complex care, emerging treatments and toxicity management” will feature:*
  • A key presentation from Prof Mei Krishnasamy (Professor of Nursing, University of Melbourne) entitled “Addressing complex care needs – The role of specialist oncology nurses”
  • Presentations on new and emerging treatments and treatment platforms, including the neoadjuvant platform
  • Complex toxicity management and interactive case studies.The Conference program also features multidisciplinary presentations and workshops from world-leading clinicians, including the Conference Co-Hosts and 2024 Australians of the Year, Prof Richard Scolyer AO and Prof Georgina Long AO.
