Since its inception in 1953, Ego has led the way in the scientific development and manufacture of innovative skincare products that are backed by science.

Ego was founded by Gerald and Rae Oppenheim. 

Gerald, a chemist, was uniquely positioned to formulate innovative products that people needed to treat their skin. Rae, a nurse, communicated the benefits of the products to dermatologists across Australia.

Today, Ego produces over 150 different products, from leading brands including QV Skincare, DermAid and Zatamil steroid creams, Aqium Hand Sanitiser, Resolve Antifungals and SunSense Sunscreen, just to name a few.

Ego Pharmaceuticals remains family owned and operated, with all products manufactured in their own world-class plant in Melbourne, Australia.
